Flat water isn't flat water with a foil. Small sail fun in France. Since moredownhaul has a Horue, I expect him to be doing this stuff by early autumn.
That place looks a lot like OBX. That structure at .27 looks like duck blind. I'm guessing it isn't OBX with masts that long, though. If it was every once in a while, instead of the nose jumping out of the water, it would be diving into it.

New Severne FoilGlide for 2020. Four batten cambered foil sail available in 5,6, 7 m2. Similar to the Loft Skyscape and new Sailworks Flyers. Profile reminds me of the Phantoms.
Speaking of the Flyer - looks like Bruce is out on a 2020 prototype 8.2. Rumor is that they are going to do a freerace/race model. This one has 6 battens and has a Hyperglide-like full foot.
Racing in San Fran. The guy who keeps spanking everyone (at least in the first couple of races that I watched) is Chris Radkowski of F4. The guy in secon is Al Mireld, also of F4. I think they are on 7.8/8.0s
I got flashbacks from having to watch a B&W Bergman film in college. I had no clue what I was watching which really sucked because I had to write a paper on it. (Wild Strawberries for the curious)
Randy (and other aspiring jibers), found this video which was better than I expected
I figure the next thing in foiling will be foils (or maybe just wings) specifically designed for different disciplines. I guess are already race foils, but I could see foils designed to promote jumping, freestyle, straight line speed, maybe early planing but not flying and who knows what else. Boards became very specialized a long time ago, same for sails, fins and everything else. I figure the industry mantra will be "Anything you can do with a windsurf board you can do better with a foil."

Do you think you can Rob Rock me a car? I need a new windsurf mobile. A family of raccoons have moved into my current one during the wind drought.

I think it's a light house.
It's here: https://goo.gl/maps/coM3cAEHCCDU93169 just outside La Rochelle, France

Starboard introduces their compact boards. With the nose, it looks like they just took a hacksaw to an existing design.

Three years of progress. Alexandre Cousin and William Huppert (French pros) in 2016 showing off their jibes. It looked amazing then.
It'll be interesting to see where this lad will be in three years

Oy, that’s a short race?
You just can't cheat foil death. BTW - there is a rather subtle message in this.

Your paper turned out quite well. Thanks for linking it. I will have to watch that movie. It looks really good like all of Bergman's movies.
The jibe video would have been better if it was B&W, one of the guys was wearing a black hoodie and perhaps, they were engaging in a game of chess.

Making curvy lines on flat water
Amazing! Foiling has come a long way in a short time.

I am a big fan of Slingshot's products. I wish they would start making lightweight sails for foiling.
I really enjoy the Wizard 150 and Infinity 76 wing
Their products seem to be designed for enjoyment and ease of use rather than how fast they go.
However if you feel Balzy they have this also.
