Boats ought to be beautiful like a 12 m or badass like the foiling AC cats. These things just look weird and ugly.
But people prolly say the same thing about me.

I've grown to like them. I think they look much better in motion than a still pic. But, I gotta admit, I'm always reminded of this when I see a pic
Your max speed is higher than 21 either that or I am going 10.

Dude...your silence is deafening. Am I really that slow?
I max the Tillo big wing just above 21 - the wing has a lot of lift and I really haven't gone out fully set up for that. However the avg speed is pretty high, 17-19. I'm even doing 14-15 hard upwind. I haven't GPS'ed the small wing or the AFS small wing. Lisa has borrowed my GPS phone so I won't be able to do any runs this weekend.
Goyard's speeds are amazing. IMHO, it's a lot harder than breaking 50 knots at Luderitz which is well hard enough.
I was just stalking N. Goyard's FB and saw this drone video posted back in October that I missed. From Engadinwind. btw, he says the speeds are records and feels like he has more in the tank.
Conditions for Nico Goyard's foil record run: "[Winds] were between 20 and 30 knt, standard stuff for Nico: float prototype in 91, IRIS R with small wing and small stab. Ga slalom 5.6" according to Eric of Glissattitude.
Goyard posted on FB: Yes new record in vmax, on the km and on the mile I'm waiting to see if I don't do better ?
Zeeko has come out with an innovative foil design. The mast position can be changed on the fuse giving the foil either slalom or course race characteristics. Rather than a fuse that has to be disassembled completely like the SS, the slot for the mast has an A and B position and a filler block takes up the idle space. The rear stab can also be tuned by sliding it in its cradle similar to Horue (and maybe Alpine?)
It's reasonably affordable for its class of full carbon masted foils

Looks like our friends Alex and Ron going port tack.
That moment when you realize how late you are to the party.
Mother of freakin' pearl...
I thought someone put a foil on a whale at first glance.

Meanwhile, Nicolas Goyard is pushing the envelope of windfoil speed
36.45knt in V 2s
34.22 on 10s
32.93 on 1km
can you imagine sailing from Van Pugh to Aqualand at almost 38 mph? My V 2s is maybe, maybe 21 mph.
