Guido and I are going to VP. Hope to get there around 1. Should be breezy and chilly.

I wore my 3-2 wetsuit windsurfing this afternoon. With full sun when I arrived it seemed warm enough. After an hour of fun on the water I starting getting cold & checked the temp. It was 41F with 56F water. When I got home I warmed up next to the fireplace listening to music & discovered this newly-released Beatles song.
Strong dollar and promo code BLACK makes this sales very attractive

I plan to sail at Van Pugh while the water is still warm enough for a 3-2 suit. Please post if you can go.

For all the windfoilers wondering around lost in the wingfoil category
I have many blessings in life and an important one is this community. You are all kind, gentle and so, so funny. My sessions on the water would only be half as much fun if I couldn't share them with all of you either on the water or here. My thanks to you all.
The reason longer harness adjustable harness lines really help sailing overpowered on a foil. Part of the reason is that when overpowered, unlike a fin where we lean back and out, on a foil, quoting Sam Ross: hinge at the hips.
Here's a good photo of a bunch of PWA guys and their stance. I get it that almost no one here races but it does show what you want to look like when you are trying to hold the foil down in a gust without blowing up. From the same FB post, is the insanity of a mark rounding just as a bonus extra.
I plan to sail Van Pugh today after lunch.
Also, maybe Sat and Mon, subject to change.

If you would like to see a chapter 3, then I need some input:
What would you like to see happen to PeelSkid next?
What characters would you like to make this scene happen?
Give me this input and I will write Chapter 3.
Thoughts? Dates? Anybody interested in hosting?
Hawk, devastated by the loss of his best friend PeelSkid, couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the mysterious disappearance. He knew PeelSkid was an experienced and skilled windsurfer, and the idea of him vanishing without a trace seemed implausible. Unable to accept the grim outcome, Hawk decided to take matters into his own hands.
Chapter # 1
The Midnight Windsurfer – The story of the Giant Orange Squid
Stay tuned for this epic story of PeelSkid's encounter with a Giant Orange Squid.
Based, somewhat, on a true to life story about Hawk and his encounter with a squid in the waters off the coast of South Korea.
Starring PeelSkid and Hawk.
Due November 2023
The forecast looks promising to achieve my goal of Windsurfing/Foiling 100 days this year. Please post if you can join me.

Sorry for the screen cap but it's from one of those "closed" FB groups. Guy uses old windsurf boards to make foil boards. Pretty clever, imho.

If it holds, ETA 1pm
and just noticed this the other day - a serial number on the logo.
Actually, I have two North sails and never noticed it on either one. You may know the sails - the white 5.4 (thanks, Alan) and purple and white 4.7. Between the two, I probably use them 40 times a year. I'll probably be lousy as a witness if there's a crime committed near me.
Join Hamdi & me at Vanns around 10:30AM tomorrow (Thurs.). The Fx looks promising with partly sunny, high in the low 60’s & East wind.
