Flyday 4-27

I'm planning to be at VP early afternoon. Tomorrow looks good, too, but everybody who has a boat will be getting it wet. If only there was a way to simply glide over the chop... Biggrin

We will be on our boat creating more chop, Probably sail up to Van Pugh in the afternoon Saturday.

What is the boat traffic like on Altoona?

There is something called foiling you might look at.

Allatoona can get pretty choppy. It's also narrower than Lanier so (in my experience) on busy days, you have more traffic to mind. Power boats plus a regatta from AYC. The boats are smaller though. A lot of geography to the west so west days are more squirrely than VP.
