I sailed yesterday, good big sail conditions. Today couldn't cause the family was at the lake. Blew like crazy all afternoon. Would have had fun with a 6.5. Gainesville was 15ish all day.

Yesterday, Jr and I were up at Sunrise Cove. Those big sails and boards should be banned. By the time the whitecaps came in for just a bit late in the day (12ish mph) I was trying to bleed off power in the puffs heading upwind. Earlier I'd been planing without even a whitecap in sight. Man, does this transform the summer months.

I sailed at LLSC yesterday. Pretty much had the lake to myself. Way powered on my Equipe w/ 7.4, then got in maybe 45 min on my slalom board w. 5.5! Later back to longboard. What a surprise. Unusual that when it filled in strong the wind backed to SW rather than usual veer to NW.
