Wind on Turkey Day - Who's Going?

My brother is in town for Thanksgiving and has his board with him to join me tomorrow at Lake Lanier. The forecast calls for a nice sunny day with West wind 10-20. Is anyone able to go in the afternoon on Thanksgiving Day?

giving thanks for the wind

Well I only got about 2 hours on the water yesterday after work but it was awesome. 5.8 powered 80% of the time.

Where were you Gene?

After Alan left the wind continued to increase, became more steady & shifted to the NW. I rigged down from my 5.9m to a 5.2m sail and was fully powered. As Alan said, it was an awesome day!
