It looks brilliant outside already. Unfortunately, the household was flattened by a stomach bug the last several days and I'm not sure I'm up to going out yet. I wish I felt better. It looks like you can leave the 7.5 at home, for sure.
Have fun!
I rigged a 6.0m on my 101L JP FS/Wave board and was fully powered. Jim was overpowered at times on his 6.5 meter sail. One of the better days at Lanier.
Juliette was really good too but a bit of a pain sailing from the dock. Seems one of the new employees at Ga Power heard about Jon rescuing those boaters and took our access to the park away.
I guess no good deed really doesn't go unpunished!

Any reasoning why the people who aren't drowning don't have access? (Perhaps you are thwarting someone's plan for world domination?) If it helps, we could help you document how many years you all have been sailing there accident-free.
Does this mean you can't sail at all or just have to launch at a PITA location?
Any plans for Occupy Lake Juliette? (Is this one too soon?)
We can still launch from the boat dock at Dames Ferry, Wind directions from S-W aren't bad at all but NW can be a bit of a pain from the wind swirling around in the cove. North would be a royal pain, wouldn't even want to try. Sail selection is kind of tricky too since you really cant see whats happening in the channel from the dock, luckily new sails are real rangy these days.
Jon heard a rumor that Ga Power is thinking about opening the campground year round and making it primitive from October to March, and he is going to talk to the new woman in charge next week, keep your fingers crossed!

Jim & I are heading to Van Pugh after lunch.
