when is it time to let go (of a sail?)

this, I think, is a mid 2000s (?) vintage sail. (I got it from Gene many moons ago, and was super stoked as it was my 3rd and biggest sail ever, and most modern design at that time. Thanks, Gene!!!!)

But alas...unless someone else has some good ideas, it's difficult to imagine it's worth repairing. (or is it, on the cheap somehow??? in addition to the one panel that is all but completely cut out...there's much tape holding the upper panel together. And it's pretty crispy overall).

Imagining it's not worth repairing - or worth anything to anybody in this condition, at this stage in it's life - is it just time to take it to the dump? (I"ve pulled all the battens and batten tensioners out. You know...so I can throw them away 20 years from now).

Any other ideas? words of tribute? TIA ~

(and, I'll note, I"ve got at least two other sails in this same situation, but even older, and in even worse condition).

The UV clock on that monofilm has ticked it's last tock.
Say a few words over it and don't look back. Good
