What's scoop on Gault's?

I'm looking at going to Gault's soon for East wind. I haven't been there in a while and was curious about water level - how far a trudge from the nominal water line and how much reach is left? Thanks, Chris.

Chris, I have not been out in ages, but a friend that sails at the AYC says that the island in the middle might show in a few days if we don't get rain.
Hope to see you on the water soon,
Mimi

All the swimming area is out of the water but it is not at winter level. The walk is not bad at all. Maybe 150 feet. It's not bad at winter pool either.
The other day is was free to get in because you can't use the beach.

It is actually a good level to sail because the area outside the swim area is shallow enough to stand. You can practice jibes there and if you blow them you can stand up and get back on. Just scout it carefully because there are a couple stumps between the left corner of the swimming area and the farthest to the left reef marker pole.
