Weekend Sailing?

This may be a reach, but the models are showing easterlies Sat and Sunday. Sunday looks the better of the 2. May not pan out, but I'll be watching it. The models have been a little pessimistic lately so I'm hoping that it will work out.

Randy,
I'm back from Brazil and will try sailing Sunday if it's good. Too busy tomorrow.

Model suddenly looks better. The soccer model predicts that William will be driving to pick up Jr. from soccer camp Sun a.m.

Vann's? Looks like a day for the optimistic who own big sails.

It's Sunday and I'm heading out to Galts. Got to get there early or you won't get a parking spot.

Jibes,
Glad to see you are back. How was the trip? Did you do any windsurfing down there?
I am in Knoxville for Fathers day weekend. Went windsurfing here since its Fathers day and I automatically held a trump card to any resistance. Lots of tacky bright orange colored boats around here but not much wind!

Sunday update. Pretty amazing. Sailed 9am to 11:30. Gainsville only reporting 8-10 mph, but I was sailing 7.0, first on my "skinny" (Bic 278, 101 liter) then my formula board. After the first hour, the wind dropped but it was solid 8.4, for the next hour. Finally started to drop off and I quit at 11:30.

Patrick,
Brazil was ok, no wind in BR but did some surfing at a spectacular beach almost all to ourselves. Hope you enjoyed Knoxville. We had a crowd at Galts and had a pretty darned good day except for too many motorboats too close. Chris S., Chris P., Ken, Eva, Dan, Ted were there. I think I got everyone. Average sail was 7 and up. See you soon!
