That's cool with me. I was hoping to have two full days set aside to do nothing but watch cat videos.

Gene, I hope your new strategy works.
Otherwise I will have to start looking forward to a bike ride.

Are you kidding? Look at NOAA's forecast for today:

Today Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Light east wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

The NOAA model should change its name to "The Wind Forecast as told by the Brothers Grimm".

Thursday Morning

Could blow a bit from the east in the morning hours. I might go to Tidwell, if it looks promising. I know this is crazy. But here's my number - six7eight-6four3-7for-two-seven...call me maybe.

Gene called it - no wind this weekend.

Re: This Weekend, NO WIND!

Yeah– something looks screwy to me about that. They ride kind of bow down= recipe for a very expensive pitch-pole... hit a lull, then skewer a wave– yikes! Pretty amazing that all that weight is carried on the foil there and on the rudder.

Before it foils up, I'd think that L shape would be really draggy. Some small cats are going to elliptical boards... they curve under the lee hull and as the weather hull comes up, it's more and more a wing. Pretty clever.
