For all the windsurfers who had to work, here is a report of conditions at L. Lanier on Wednesday, 10/5.
Imagine being on vacation at a tropical windsurfing resort. The water is 80F and the wind is blowing a steady 20-25kts. That pretty much sums up the conditons at Van Pugh from 11AM to 1PM. After around 1PM the wind began to cycle up and down with gusts, as is typical at the Lake. Amazingly, it was still windy when I left at 4PM and I rigged only one sail all day, a 6.5m.

I had to work. Much of the day was spent looking out windows. Yesterday was good though. Sailed at Galt's fully powered on a 9.0 from 10am until 2. The water was flat and warm and the wind was fairly steady. I made every jibe but one and that is rare for me.
Surely we can sail Thursday or Friday but I fear that the warm days are gone.
