Looks like a good Galt's Ferry day. Forecasts are showing E-NE winds around 20 mph. High temps 43-48 depending on the forecast, with a chance of showers. Allatoona is up about 10 feet from a few weeks ago too. I guess I'll load up the van tonight.
The walk is probably less than 300 feet. It's less of a walk than it used to be. That 10 foot increase makes a big difference because of the shallow sloped shore. It's actually halfway to being full pool. Plus, you don't have the Vann's Tavern hill to deal with.
I don't think trailers should be a problem. The gate is unmanned these days and I don't expect it will be crowded.
Maybe even Gene will drive over. He promised to come sail with us some time for old times sake.
I loaded up all my stuff with but chickened out. The temps kept falling and it just looked plain ugly out there. After sailing in Florida last week I guess I'm not that desperate yet either.

Bill - FYI, Phillip, Scott & I sailed for a little bit yesterday afternoon brfore the wind dropped off. 5.5 - 6.5, it was OK but cold.
