Wed, 3/19, If, When, Where?

Looks like there may be wind tomorrow, Wednesday, but it's supposed to start out SE, then go S, then W. Also, it's supposed to be raining, but warm. And, Thursday isnt looking that good anymore. So I'd like to try to sail Wed, maybe sailing Vanns Tavern in the AM or Van Pugh late in the afternoon, OR BOTH, with a break for lunch.

Anybody? Any ideas?

Hey Gene - 'm thinking much along the same lines. At this time there's some variation in the f'casts, but it does look pretty windy all day & into the night (which particularly interests me). Earlier on TV they were calling for basically one line of T-storms coming through at 2:00 or 3:00. For direction consensus at this time seems to be like 160 clocking slowly through the day maybe only to 220 rather late. I'm looking at Vann's Tavern late morning - maybe hanging & reading when the storms come, and depending on direction, maybe sail the south side late.[/i]

Looks like it's already turned south, maybe that means everything is early and it will turn west earlier this afternoon. I'm passing on trying to sail his morning, but still hope to sail this afternoon at Van Pugh.
