At Van Pugh, around 3:00, it is Windy, probably 5.2, maybe 4.5 but just too cold. It was 35 degrees (per my car) and at my house it said 32 degrees. Way too cold for windsurfing, especially after such a great 4.5 day yesterday.
But NOT too cold for the Kiters. For real, Emilio and Baxter(?) blew up 11 meter kites and made it look easy. I think we may end up having to share Van Pugh with kites in the future as it looked like they really were enjoying themselves.

I DO NOT miss those cold days. That was a great front - and thanks for not using up all that air in Atlanta. We got hammered all night Tuesday and all day Wednesday. Air temps in the mid-50s by afternoon and water right at 60. Not too bad, but I did have to wear my mittens for the morning session on a 4.2. Late afternoon session on 5.5 was actually more fun - something about having a bit of control. Still flying solo most of the time with an occasional session with the kite crew.
