Cancel all non-essential plans for the forseeable future.
I'll be at Vanns on NE days on VP on SW/W/NW as much as I can for the next few days starting tomorrow. I may break out a fin Thursday.
Warning to my neighbors: Leaves will be piling up in my yard until further notice.

Need some "live reporting" for Tuesday.
Kinda have some trust issues with WeatherCat after this past Friday and Saturday

It's inherent with any cat to have trust issues.

Going to try and get out of work for a few hours and go to Vanns
I bought a paint sprayer last week with the intentions of painting the outside of my house this week.
You’re welcome!
(now the first person on scene tomorrow needs to rig up a very BIG sail . . . and put their thickest neoprene on )

Sailed Vanns yesterday with Hamdi. Wind was great early, then dropped as others arrived.

I'll be back again today to suffer lumps.
Gary, rigged an 8.0 and wore a 4/3 and it still didn't help. Too hot in that suit to even consider pumping although I would have if I thought there was a chance.
9:45 ,live report at vanns. It's howling. Gilmer reporting 16-25.

I had a good time on a' 5.2m .
Sometimes not enough wind, sometimes more than enough..
Webguy rigging from one extreme to the other

Started on a "4.2" Chopper until we hit a lull about an hour or so in. Not wanting to repeat yesterday, came in, ate lunch and pondered what to rig. Still looked like 5.4 would work but then decided on 6.9 to stay in front of the "diminishing wind" curve. Realized that I didn't have a clew pulley for the 6.9 and still wanting to stay ahead of the curve, rigged the 8.0 with 800 wing. Wind got spotty for a while and then resumed a frisky 15-20+.
Kept it glued together and kind of happy to have pushed the envelope a bit. Dave D (k), Hamdi Howard, Ed, (foil, fin, fin) Kim and Paul (wings) also made appearances through the day.
Edit: AND ALAN WAS THERE FOILING sorry, alan i forgot
HamdiD
Good to see everyone today, same conditions still going when I left at 5:15, have fun tomorrow.
Thanks Hamdi
Just one of those days
$#&% me... sorry, I left you off the roster. It was a long day and everything was a blur after rerigging.
