Tidwell will work on SSE or due S. However, about the only time I sailed it on that direction, it was a day where it was fifteen minutes of calm followed by 15 minutes of strong wind. I'd say Vann's Tav would probably be better though. I can't make it today, though. I'm hoping Wed will be a better day. Winds with a lot of S in it, never seem to work that well.

About southerly winds, I pretty much agree - they're often fickle. Given present forecast, I think I'll pass and hope that the Friday forecast holds, as it's looking strong and not too cold.
