Thursday looks like the air will be warm enough for me and lots of wind. Have not yet been winter sailing and if someone goes to Allatoona tomorrow morning, I think I can get enough courage to try it. Let me know if anyone is up to it.
I am thinking of going out, but probably to Lanier. The forecast says e (7am) going to s (by 12pm?), which just doesn't work for Galts. I may go Vann's Tav or Tidwell. If it stays E, the Galts would be fine, however.

I think Old 41 is closed this time of year, though one might be able to carry gear in. Old 41 doesn't work for Easterly, but is good for South to west.
I don't really know of any place good on Allatoona for Southerly, though if the wind stays east, Galts is fine.

Randy,
I had another location rather than Galts in mind. Perhaps Old 41...Any suggestions? Lanier is too far for a weekday session.
