thanks nws, not.

nice call by the guys in Peachtree City this morning.  5-10.

so I get up to Cumming for a bit of business and the wind is annoying. Phone up Gilmer and it's W 11-16 (and no I didn't bring anything with me). Get home and find the NGM (nested grid model, see numerical mos at the left <- ) had been calling for 10-15 all morning.

grrrrrrrrrr.

I didn't actually go myself, but I heard that as soon as people hit the water, ligtening and thunder were heard, chasing all the windsurfers off the water.

'bout what time was that? If it was 11:31, I'll feel a whole lot better (since I got on 400 S at 11:30)

More like 1sh, but the story I heard was that there was little going on windwise before the storm on the lake. (Not that I was dumb enough to actually go myself and sail out 50 feet and have to turn back and hide in my car).
