Just wanted to drop a line to thank all those who helped me out yesterday at Van Pugh. It was my first time there, only my 3rd time on the water this past year, and WAY too much wind for my one sail. But I still had a great time!
I hope to have some more chances to sail with some of you again. I picked up some good equipment for a few bucks to help me rig my sail right, got lots of encouragement (even though you all knew I wasn't going to make it with my 6.2 out there!), and a major thanks to the guy that picked me up with the jet-ski. I had given up hope of getting back to the launch by sail, rolled my sail up onto the board... but even then paddling back in that chop wasn't going to work.
