Shady Grove campground and boat launch. it is off 400 exit 16 go Chattahoochee road then turn right onshady grove road then left on shadburn ferry take road to the park. It is on a point and looks like it would work very good on a south west and anything SW-NE.
Anybody tried this spot?

I have wanted to try it, but never been able to. It seems to only be open during a few months in the summer. Also, I was wondering if their is a camping fee if you want to use it. If anyone uses it, I would be interested as well.

Another spot that works pretty well for sw is Two Mile. It is just west of Van's Tavern and is usually not very crowded. It is closer for me, and I like it better than Sunrise. It has a nice area for launching and real restrooms as well. It can also be sailed on e but offers no advantage over Tidwell, or Vann's Tavern, other than it is crowded. For both spots, you need to get upwind a little, howeve.

Wednesday. Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80s. Southwest winds around 10 mph in the morning increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon
I think i will try Shady Grove Campground Wed..
