Forecasts shows a chance of some wind today, from the SE, I'm thinking I may go to Vanns Tavern later this afternoon.

Same here - ChrisP. Incidentally, The past seven days have been unusually good for sailing here. Last Sunday was decent, Monday was very good, and Tuesday was ripping.

(that's what it felt like)

Good exercise, Bad sailing.

I dont think I'm sailing Lanier on a South wind anymore.

Sunday Drew and I rode dirt bikes. We noticed the wind, came home early and rigged the Hobie. Straigth S wind. Geat out of my cove and to the open water. I am glad I was able to give Drew some lessons on sailing the Hobie on the trapeeze. Now all he has to do is get up the guts to do it alone.

Great wind for the Hobie. It took only 15 min to get to the big water and then an easy sail home when we were done.

No wetsuits.

I agree a bit gusty but I was also able to teach him how to manage those gusts.

I could not have done this without that wind.

Now we will see what he does with it.
