Sunday easterly?

GFS and windmapper are hinting at something. Still buzzing from the unexpected session Monday. Need to feed the dragon again.

Re: Sunday easterly?

windmapper is still sticking to a decent forecast while the NWS is still hovering just below dots. It looks like the Euro model is more optimistic. Sunday and Monday still looking interesting.

I choose to believe. Biggrin

Well.. that one didn't work. At all... Cray 2 A steady 5-7. Oh well.

Langdon and Mauricio came, too. Langdon made good use of his Superlight II and sailed up to Port Royal Marina. Pat Park came and brought a friend, Greg, for his first time out. Greg did well and had fun. Props to both him and Pat. Glad the wind was light for their sake.

Now the big question........Monday? More of the same day or more wind?

There is no off season.

My optimism is squashed. Are you thinking of going?

Re: Sunday easterly?

I guess not. I couldn't make it today and some of the forecasts showed Monday looking better (mainly at Toona) than today so I was hoping. Now we got nothin...........

There is no off season.

You aren't kidding, it really did go away. Crap, now I'll have to be productive tomorrow. This sucks.
Le sigh. Back to cat videos.

There things worse than a bad forecast. We might be caught up in the Great I-285/I-75 Cattle Round Up.

From the article: "In June, Mark Arum covered another crash when a cattle truck overturned on I-285 in DeKalb County. In that crash 37 cows were onboard the truck. Unfortunately, three cows were killed."

Unfortunately? Where were the cows going? To the Happy Days Forever Farm? Shok

Great post, Randy. The chaos from 70 loose cows is straight out of cheap disaster movie from the 70s.

Now this is my idea of a fun cat video. Face it - you've got nothing better to do.

A "friend of mine" watched it all the way through and perversely enjoyed it. Yeah, cat urine is something else.

Fortunately, we don't have a "cat problem" in our yard. My car needs all of its parts.
