Update - Thurs, 1/15, 7:30AM, still pertty windy, I clocked it at 15 to 20 mph on the shore, mainly west, not much of a wind shadow, kind of chilly around 40 degrees. I may try to sail mid morning, say 10 or 11, if it keeps blowing.

If it stays westish, I might chance a quick sail at mid-day. I just don't want to go up for a dying NW (gusty 2-20) and do the cha-cha on a little board.

I'm not a bad person after all! I just have the WS Disease!

I'm coming out, too, I feel much better about my addiction, now that I was able to come out with it and share some of my story with you guys on Tuesday. I understand now that I am not alone in my disease; I'm just like so many others: I cannot help that I am a windsurfing addict. With help from people like you, I know that I can be a functioning member of society. So, today I will throw caution to the wind-gods, and stand up to my obsession!! Thanks, ABC!!!

1:00 report - I'd decided the wind wasnt going to blow enough to mess with it but kept getting decent readings from the airport, so, at 1:00 I rode down to Van Pugh to make sure I didnt miss anything. There were a few caps but it it didnt look like you could run anything except maybe the big stuff, so I'm not going today. Now that I said that, maybe it will come up this afternoon. Doug (surfdougie) had sailed but was packing it up, he'd got his fix.
