Here’s the scoop. It is BIG. It is SUPER, GIANT, MEGA, it is THE SHREDFEST. We are expecting a big turnout, with around 20 students signed up for the clinic and hopefully over 50 sailors and friends in total. Don’t miss it.

It is at the Lake Lanier Sailing Club and Chris has already posted directions. Sorry but NO PETS ALLOWED. The gate will be open at 10:00 with the Learn To WindSurf Clinic beginning at 11:00. Clinic volunteers need to be there between 10:00 and 10:30 and students should try to be there between 10:30 and 11:00 to allow time to register, etc. Plans are to hold the clinic at the Lake Lanier Sailing Club, if at all possible. There is a very small chance it will have to be moved to Vann’s Tavern. It will be a lot nicer to have everything going on at one place.

A rough idea of the schedule is as follows:
Clinic - 11:00 to 3:00, lunch is bring your own.
Cookout – 6:00 to 7:00.
Swap Meet is ongoing.
Silent Auction will be closed at 7:30.
(A second Silent Auction may be held Sunday for unsold Swap Meet items.)
Door Prizes will be given out at 7:45.
Bonfire and Wind Ceremony will begin at 8:00.
Camping is allowed Saturday night.
Some type of breakfast is planned for the campers Sunday morning, but not too early.

Some other stuff you need to know: Alcohol is allowed, it’s bring your own. The Atlanta Boardsailing Club is providing the food for the cookout, small cash donations will be accepted but not required. There is a fee for the clinic, $20 for new students, $10 for previous students and Free for members of the Lake Lanier Sailing Club. Volunteers will be needed throughout the event, let’s all help out. If you did not RSVP, it doesn’t matter, come on out. You don’t have to be an official member of the Atlanta Board Sailing Club, since there is no longer an official membership.
