Seeking advice for lodging at St Simon for Windfest

Thanks to Chuck for the link but it's hard to reach anyone who knows the locations there! I specifically was looking for a place close to the public beach on the north end of the island (vicinity of the sailing club which is fenced in). Last time we stayed at St Simon, we were at the Seagate Inn on the south end. At high tide, there is no beach, just rocks. Anyone have any advice or phone number to book a reservation? I thought I read in an ancient post about the possibility of leaving your boards and rigs secured at the sailing club. Is that still an option?
Thanks, Mimi

I can't help you much with lodging specifics, but there are no hotels real close to the sailing area. You will be looking at high-end condos (meaning expensive) if you need to be on the water and/or real close to the north end. Maybe Chuck or John L. can offer more help.

Non-members have never been able to leave their gear overnight, but I have found members to be extremely friendly They may let you if you ask nicely, but there may no be enough room considering all that will be going on. I would just assume that you will need to derig at the end of the day.

go to VRBO.com and you will find small condo right where you want them for prices like $100 night. Of course they are not ocean front but they are close inland to the sailing area. I have seen several in there.
