Patrice did great on her first day on the water! The conditions were perfect for learning 7-9mph. It was a beautiful day. Oh yes, it's the longest haul to the water I have EVER seen at Galts. The gate guard said that today was his last day so I was lucky to buy a day use pass for the year since mine ran out in August.
Hope you had fun. I couldn't go since it was "National take your wife bike riding day". Still a nice day though.

Thanks for the update. I have a trailer that I will be using this year and I was hoping I could slide past the gaurds to get in the lower lot with it.
I like the lower water levels at Galts. It creates some great gravel bars to jibe behind for flat water jibe practice. Now all we need is wind.
