Wow simultaneous peaks in temp & velocity... that's got to be rare.

FYI, they are forecasting temps near 60 here in Augusta and 20-30 winds. So if you want an extra 10 degrees, conside heading east!

Trey -- we sail from Scott's Ferry Landing at Clark's Hill Lake. Check out this link for directions (click on the map icon see a map of the lake)

One forecast is showing Augusta with a high of 60 and winds 20-30. The lake is definitely warmer than Lanier also!

It just depends on when the rain stops in the morning -- but it should be an all day event. The wind should hold into dark.

Can't make Saturday, but Colorado has been rockin with over 3 feet of snow this week. Never seen anything like it, we've been skiing fresh powder up to our thighs!!! Oh yeah, everyday the wind forecast is like 20-35 and a recorded gust of 55. Pretty chilly at the top and on the lifts with the wind driven snow!

Sailed Fort Yargo, small lake near Winder, but hey, I had the whole lake to myself. I launched from the beach which seemed to work OK for W wind.
