Sat AM Report

In case you were wondering about the 14 mph e readings at 8 am in Gainsville, I'll fill you in. When I first got to Tidwell it was 5-6 but a little gust came up so I rigged. I was planning (usually with pumping) on my 9.6 and wide board untill around ten. Dropped off and I left. So for me it was worth it, but if you were afraid you missed something much better, rest easy. Smile

Now here's the important part. I had a VERY SCARY experience  on the way back. I was tooling down 400 and saw a GHIPs (Georgia Highway Patrol) with a speed gun. As soon as I saw him I looked at my speed (70) and dropped down. Just then he put down his speed gun and got on his bike. I was thinking "they can't ticket me for going 70", a fortunately he didn't. Instead he went after a car behind me. There was another one posted a mile down 400. So word to the wise, if you plan to go on Sunday I'd save the speed for the lake. (Just imagine how bummed you will be if you are waiting around getting a ticket when the wind is 20 mph on Sunday.)
