Sat 3/25 Van Pugh?

I plan to sail this afternoon at Van Pugh if we get any wind. Yesterday we had a pretty good day.

Hi Gene, I thought you would be at the demo today.
I'll be at VP after 1 pm.

I'll be at Galt's today, in case any of the Allatoona crowd was thinking about coming out. Be there about 1:30-2:00.

Galt's report: Sailed from about 2:00-4:30 with Al and Patrick. I was on a 6.5 and had several planning runs with quite a bit of slogging in between, typical Galts on NW. Al was on a 6.0 and Patrick on a 7.5. My 9.0 would probabaly been a better choice.

So how was Van Pugh and the Demo Day in Augusta?

The demo day was well worth the trip. The wind was up and sailing fresh new model boards and rigs all day was a great perk too. My sail/board of choice for the day was a Sailworks Retro 6.5 on the Go 139. I tried many different boards from the Starboard line and the Go had a nice fun factor for my intermediate/novice sailing skill level. The F-type required some more dialing in on my technique than time and energy levels allowed for. I also sailed the Rio, which seemed like a really good entry-level or family board.
