The Augusta-Columbia Windsurfing Association (ACWA) is hosting Roger Jackson's traveling Sailworks and Starboard demo "show" at an event we're calling the ACWA Spring Windsurfer's Picnic on March 12th on Lake Murray, near Columbia, SC, at Pine Island Recreation Area. EVERYONE IS INVITED! (About a 3 hour drive from Atlanta.) Gathering time beginning about 11:00am. We're doing a hot cook-out lunch (for a minimal cost) and whatever the wind, if there is any, will allow. Roger will do a "rigging and tips clinic" at the very least. Roger teaches first-times and near-beginners regularly on these events, but considering the cool water at that time, anyone desiring instruction on water will have to have significant wetwear.
