I decided to take Peelskid up on his offer to try windsurfing, and boy am I glad I did. I don't think that I have fallen over that much in my entire life. Thankfully the water provides a soft landing. After I had unintenionally swallowed half of Lake Lanier I finally managed to stay on the board long enough to hoist the sail. I moved about ten feet and then the wind stopped and once again down I went. By the end of the day I had successfully windsurfed and had a really great time. I'm looking forward to taking some more lessons and trying to improve some more. I want to thank Peelskid, Drew and the Atlanta windsurfing club for this oppurtunity, I had a blast.
