:o Could be epic on Monday, with ENE 20-25mph predicted! I'm planning on going out for some stoke, but I'm just wondering, on a ENE(if it happens) will alotta folks go to Galts, or somewhere on Lanier? The coast? Let's take a poll: Where ya goin'? I'll probably head to Lanier, but I'm not sure where.

Vann's at Lanier will be the place if you like bumps. Galts if you want smooth.
Depends if Jr. is playing soccer Monday whether I'll be able to go.
I'll probably go to Van Pugh. I know everyone says Van's Tavern with anything East, but I personally think if if has any North in it, Van Pugh is just as good. If it has alot of North in it, I think Van Pugh is better. With alot of North, Van's Tavern gets a swirlly wind shadow. BUT if everybody is going to Van's Tavern, I may go over there.

see you at Galts
Hey guys, don't forget sunday. It may be a total rainout monday, and sunday looks like it may be good. (In fact, if it comes up today, I migth head out to VT or Tidwell)
Randy
I'm packed and ready to go today if it picks up, definitely tomorrow and Monday after the race if it doesn't rain. It will be Galts Ferry for me since it's close. Along with the E Rock and small sails, I'm hoping that I can finally use that cool (very little) wave board I got from webguy!!!! Very stoked. See you at Galts, guys and gals.

I'm heading to Lanier to meet up with Eric Lescouret, the Frenchman, at 8AM tomorrow. Our plans are to meet at VP, but it's looking more like Vann's Tavern with a breeze more E than N. Either way, it looks like minimum 20mph anywhere you look!

Help me out, where do I go in the morning? VP, Vanns Tavern, Tidwell? I need some local knowledge. Thanks in advance, Trey
Trey,
Either VP or VT are the places to go. VT may be a bit better, especially if the wind has a lot of east in it, but it is about 25 minutes longer drive from Atlanta.
I was at VP yesterday, and it was OK with very gusty winds. I plan to go to VT today very early (be there about 9am), that way you avoid the heavy boat traffic in the afternoon.
