Sailed 9.6 at Old 41 12-3 today. 
Much of the time, I didn't need a sail that big. It looked really "unpromising" when I arrived, but quickly picked up. Not bad for a day with a 5-10 forecast. Old 41 was not too crowded, though the beach filled up, and there got to be a lot of boats as the day went on. I learned that yes, you can waterstart a 9.6 :shock: , if there's too much wind to uphaul!
Anyone sail lanier or Galts?

7.5 & Equipe from LLSC. SERIOUS Maytag effect on the way to VP where I saw 2 WSers. Good clean fun... mostly planing then not so much by 5pm.

I sailed Galts. I regretted it. Too many boats, not enough wind.
