Just landed in Avon tonight myself. Man, the week long forecast is horrifically bad right now Keep the good luck coming, looks like we will need it!
Stay optimistic, flexible and keep a big sail handy. At least a couple of our sessions when I was there popped up suddenly and were completely off the forecast. Last day, forecast was SW 8-10 and was less then that all morning. People kept talking about biking somewhere (whatever that is). In the late afternoon, the wind kicked up NW 12-18.
Nitrojiber, hope you got some wind today. We sailed again this morning in Nags Head (sail range 7.5 - 8.5m) despite a weak forecast. I see there's wind right now at Frisco Woods. The forecast this week looks bad, but as Webguy recommended, keep a big sail rigged and be ready to go out when the wind picks up.

Have fun and best wishes for a breeze.

More coming soon.
Well, out of nowhere whitecaps formed around 2:00 and we got 2 hours of 7.0 wind. Not bad considering the 5-10kt forecast.
