I did everything wrong today and ended up having a great hour and half of zoom zoom. Did a really long bike ride this morning and toasted my legs. Lisa asked me to go see something at 1 pm. Didn't see that Barrett had bagged it. Got to VP and saw an empty parking lot but hints of occasional whisp of white caps upwind. Rigged big stuff and quick check of radar showed line developing near Rome so knew I had limited time.
Turned out amazing. A bunch of fully lit runs on flat water. Wind petered out after about 90 minutes but rain dissipated so I was able to relax when putting my gear up.
Geez, Barrett. Leave some wind for the rest of us.

The wind was good when I sailed 3-4PM, then suddenly died. Amazingly the heavy rain was all around, but missed Van Pugh. We only got a few drops.
Ed, it's great to see your daughter learning to windsurf.
