Hey all,
I’m looking to get back into wind sports, I have my eyes set on wingsurging, wingfoiling, but it’s more just being on the water and decide what I really want to invest in which could totally be windsurfing again. I windsurfed years ago and just now (20 years later) realizing wind sports exist on Lanier beyond sailing.
That said, is anyone willing to let me tag along one weekend, meet up at a spot? I don’t know anyone in the area who does any form of wind sports and would love to meet people and tag along.

Current thinking is wind this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (VERY rare for July). For the best chance of catching a windy day around here, you should quit any job you have.
Lol! Thank you for your reply! That does make sense. I’m down on Mobile bay, visiting the pops, but I’ll be back this weekend. That’s kind of what started this journey again and then discovering this exists on Lake Lanier and mind blown, and regret for selling my board and sail forever ago. I’m foaming at the mouth to get back on the water.
I’m feeling incredibly confident that I can snag a day off during the week. I have a little flexibility and I’m no stranger to wellness days. This absolutely counts as a wellness day.
