Yes, it was COLD this afternoon, but lots of fun. Gene, Pat, Chris P. and I rigged 5.6 to 6.0m sails, but it was windy enough for a 5.0m.
Chris hit a log near shore that made a loud cracking sound, but didn't see any damage and headed back out. Three hundred yards out his fin broke off. Gene sailed in and towed a second board out for Chris to attach his rig to and sail in towing his damaged board. Pat reported ice on his sail as we de-rigged. The airport temp. was 35F when we quit, but my car thermometer showed 33F. Chris said he was OK and we cranked our cars to get the heaters going.
