I have talked to a few guys that may be interested in sailing at Mexico Beach/Cape San Blas this weekend depending on weather. The marine forecast is 15-20 on Friday. By wednesday, we should know what the best days are going to be. Likely, I will make a three day stay, Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday, depending on the wind. 770-428-3213 Jerry Farr.

I may head down if the forecast holds up. Where are you all planning on staying?
Iam ready. I love that place. 770-978-7660
Camping, there are two places: Indian Pass and the State Park. The park is likely to be filled. By tomorrow(wednesday), we may know about how many are going or planned to go and post camping arrangements. Now the five day forecast is looking good for Friday and Saturday, both days 15-20.
I`d like to go if I can. Anybody interested in sharing a ride? No E-mails- phone h/404-525-7190. Mob.404-784-0287.
Looks like I'm in if the forecast holds, right now it looks real good for Fri, Sat & Sun (with some 25 ;D knots in it.) I plan to leave very early Fri morning.

The forecast looks to be holding up. Does anyone know of a place to stay near the state park (cabins, condos, hotels)? ??? Our 3 month old has put a hold on our days of "roughing it", but we really want to go sail!
Chris, give me a call, I know of some places and possibility of a house. 770-428-3213.
On Friday, for those who go, we will sail at Mexico Beach or at windmark a few miles down the road from there. Saturday, the wind will change from the south to the northwest. In anycase, windmark is on the way to the cape. I will give better directions later. Sorry Gene, but Sunday separates the men from the boys, you may want to plan to leave early
??? Jerry, you scared me, I dont think I'll make it this weekend. Really, what happened to the forecast?? I'm probably going to pass, just hang here and sail Sun & Mon at Van Pugh, unless the forecast changes again.
Gene
The forecast has change for the worst. At least there will be wind here.
