The great summer tradition of the ABC Learn to Windsurf clinic is on for July 22nd at Lake Lanier!

And, club members, we need many volunteers! Let us know if you can be there for what is always a fun day of windsurf culture, whatever that is.
Fee is $25 per person.* We ask that attendees pre-pay this year, although it is not required. In the last two years we have had full capacity and we will take the first 20 from whom we receive payment. Check can be made out and mailed to:

We'll have 3 or 4 instructors on hand -- with all the gear you need -- to get a basic "first-day" introduction to the sport. It will be a "clinic" situation so all instruction will obviously not be one-on-one and some equipment sharing is necessary, but everyone usually gets all the water time they can handle.
Start time is scheduled for 11:00am sharp and exact location on Laker Lanier will be determined 2 or 3 days prior due to the wind direction forecast. That and further info to be communicated via e-mail as the day approaches.

( * A limited # of kids can be accommodated due to special issues related to teaching kids, such as reduced sail rig size, safety, and attention span. Kids must be accompanied by a parent who is taking the lesson also or already is an acomplished windsurfer.
* A second or third member in one family will get a reduced entry fee of $15. We try our best to make it all work out.)
