Lanier Water temps

Anyone know the current water temps at Lanier or a link where I can find them?
Ive found sites ranging from 48 to 57?? I doubt 57 is right.

The current water temperature reported by the Corps of Engineers "at the dam" is 46F.

I don't follow it very closely any more, but the COE numbers always seemed suspect to me.

Yeah I really never cared before but taking Josh out makes me a little nervous with the water temps that low.

Re: Lanier Water temps

Toona is now listed at 53 and was as high a 57 a week ago. Lanier today was reported at 46. The reason I always suspected Lanier was off in the past was that the numbers would not change for a long time, then all of the sudden change 5-10 degrees. I think they just don't read it very often. Don't see why the two lakes would be that different.
