Toona is now listed at 53 and was as high a 57 a week ago. Lanier today was reported at 46. The reason I always suspected Lanier was off in the past was that the numbers would not change for a long time, then all of the sudden change 5-10 degrees. I think they just don't read it very often. Don't see why the two lakes would be that different.

The current water temperature reported by the Corps of Engineers "at the dam" is 46F.

I don't follow it very closely any more, but the COE numbers always seemed suspect to me.
