Big Crowd, No rain,
How could you possibly top this...... David D's wife Dixie brings pizza for every one. SHe spoils that boy, he IS a LUCKY GUY!!
At Galts we must have had 12 sailors at one time or other, including many people and boards I have never seen. About the only non-windsurfers were the sailboat guys who capsized their boat next to our launch. We had special guest appearance by Fred Dey and Chris Voith, along with many regulars including Mimi, Al, Pat Kirk, Eddie B, Ted, Adam (June 04 LTW day graduate), and myself. Jimmy could not sail because he was recovering from heart surgery (stint placed in his arteries.) Everyone was pretty much on 4.7-5.5. We even had a newpaper photographer from the Cherokee Times. I asked him about posting his shots on the club webpage, hopefully he will. We were stoked. Not a bad way to open the 04-05 season.
A quick report from the Augusta scene - a pretty epic day! Elizabeth was on a 4.2, Chuck Hardin and I on 4.7s. Defintely gusty, but when it came in so did huge rideable swells and peaky jumps. I can not remember such great wind with warm air and water temps.

I had a hard time geting out of bed this morning, hated to go outside to get the newspaper it was raining and blowing so hard, (paper was soaked when I did), and I'm thinking about going back to bed.
But, if anyone does decide to go, give me a call (770-967-0104). Hopefully it would be Van Pugh because I sure would hate to drive in this mess.
Take a good look at the wind.

I was aching all day Tuesday. I'm in reasonably good shape but haven't used those muscles in a few months. And my jibes showed it.
