How is Sunday looking?

Hi all,
I have been biting my nails for the last 4 months, while reading your middle-of-the-week escapes to windsurf.
is somebody going tomorrow? and if so where?

Hope to see you windsurfing!

If you go, looks like morning could be stronger than PM. It's going to be chilly. I'm considering going to Gault's at Allatoona. Incidentally, the coast seems to be really going off for NE Sunday and good Monday.

If the forecast holds up, I'll head to Van Pugh Park on the South shore of Lake Lanier. Most of the Atlanta windsurfers go to Van Pugh for all but South and SW winds. I'll wait till tomorrow to determine whether to go in the late morning or afternoon and post the time.

Al and I will be heading to Tidwell (Exit 16 off 400) at about 9-9:30.

Joe and Gene, along with a kiter named Mel, were out sailing 7.5's when I arrived at Van Pugh. It didn't look so good. I rigged anyway and was joined by Ray and Enrique. Amazingly the East wind picked up, until by 3PM even Enrique on his 6 meter sail was planing. I sailed an 8.3 and was worn out by 4PM.
