How North makes yacht sails

If you are into this kind of stuff - quite high tech. Short version, lmodern composite structures - the fabric is laid out by machine then vacuum bagged over a programmable mold and cooked.

btw, North windsurfing sails split from North yacht sails years ago.

Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race: One quarter of fleet retires as US yachts dominate across Bass Strait

Wonder if any these busted sails were made by North? Might take a bit more that packing tape to repair.

Latest: Comanche leading with damaged starboard dagger and rudder. btw, president of North Sails is the skipper. At least his main sail held together.
