He's Back

El Nino is back. Bad news for some, but possibly good news for us, as it may mean wetter weather to replenish the lake. Also, I recall the last El Nino was good for wind around here.

Actually low lake levels are great for windsurfing.

By the way those shallow places to jibe are now maked by bouys just off shore at VP. One is just to the right of the launch area and the other is over by the islands.

during the '97-98 el Nino, it blew like crazy in FL all spring

Doesn't El Nino mean less cold fronts for us? I thought the last one killed the wind for us.
