Where are you planning on taking a lesson? The lesson season at Whitecap Windsurfing starts in about 2 weeks. I'm near Augusta and do a professional, very thorough lesson that usually lasts about 5 to 6 hours. , See at http://www.whitecapwindsurfing.com

WindSense Windsurfing, located at Atlanta's Lake Lanier, rents begginer gear for $35 per day, AND now offers a 2+ hour, very basic beginner's class, one on one, for $50. The beginner gear can NOT be rented by anyone who has not had a class somewhere and by anyone who does not know how to rig a sail (thus the reason for the very basic class.)

Chuck's class in Augusta is also highly recomended as well as local instruction by Chris Pyron.

Dawn, if I can be of any assistance, please give me a call.
