Hello Kiters
Wonderful wind today sunday Kitesurfing on Lanier . the wind was variable ,patchy and gusting as usual :? , with the wind ENE I managed to start at the old federal park after politly asking some people to get out of the way ! It was difficult staying upwind my kite wasnt big enough -11.6 takoon skoop- with a 170cm board, before i got in the water I
thought i could go downwind to Van Pugh, but when i passed those three islands :shock: everything looked the same. so ended up going downwind to the other side of the lake and with the wind suddenly dying i dropped my kite in the water then as usual got picked up by some nice people who took me back to Van Pugh. But over all I had a nice sesson that lasted about 45 min , with few low jumps and the end was not so bad. hopfully there'll be more wind tomorrow.
but I still think that its possible to enjoy kiting on lanier .
