The Shred Fest will be held Sat and Sun, Sept 24 and 25, with official details coming real soon. But MARK YOUR CALENDAR! It will be at Lake Lanier Sailing club, Camp out Saturday night, Cook out Sat evening, Swap meet with silent auction, another Learn to Windsurf Clinic Sat at LLSC or Vanns Tavern depending on wind direction, and Wind Ceremony AND DOOR PRIZES. Volunteers will be needed. More info will be posted soon.

I thought about you since I had a few planing runs on a very heavy HiFly Matrix twin finny, way too much volume for my size (probably 145 L.) and an 8.5. Had I balanced that big sail on my shortboard, I'd have flying without a doubt. Would have loved to try your formula board in those conditions. It was a pretty good day, good enough for sailboat races from the sailing club...
