Boy that was a great session. I rigged up and was on the water by 11AM and didn't come in until 4:30 or so. There were at least 10 sailors out. New lady sailor learning the basics with Chris P. Way to go Kay! I was on a 7.2 and planing most of the time on my E rock. Wind average 10 or 15 mph with Galt's beautiful flat water, not many boats. So, besides me there was Patrick, Adam, Eddie B, Eddie, Dan, Rus, Kay her friend (I forget his name, sorry!) and Chris P. Patrick, did I forget anyone? Wonder how Lanier folks did.

Great day at Vann's Tavern as well. I sailed from 10 am till about 2 pm. Started out briefly on 8.4, but quickly went to 7.0 and stayed with it. It sounds like it went pretty well till late in the afternoon, after I left. Sails sizes were 7 to 8.5 or so. We had about 5-8 sailors eventually, and 2 kiters. At least as much socializing as sailing, if not more. (The kite guys have found a new launch somewhat upwind of Vann's Tav, perhaps the old "Athens Park spot.)

Anybody sail at Van Pugh?
