Monday was good in the late afternoon. Rigged a 9.0 and of course it built and was soon overpowered. Rigged a 6.6 and was slightly overpowered in the big gusts. Went to small wave fins on the Hifly. It helped in the highest gusts. Sailed until about 5pm.
The lake is filling up. You can now launch from the sand by the beach. I swear it seems like the water is getting warmer also.

Alan, thanks for the report. I saw it building up this afternoon, but that's when I start working...!

Oodles of wind at Van Pugh. I started out 7.4, but quickly went to 5.7 (though I was probably on a smaller sail than most). It built throughout the day. By 4:30, I was blown off the water, as it hit 20-30.

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
At Van Pugh I guess I had the most fun day so far this year - pretty much powered and more on 5.8 all afternoon - no hood, no cold hands. Ramps could have been better, but nice all in all.
